It was a beautiful day, no doubt. Warm enough to swim in an unheated pool? I think not. You-know-who was determined to prove mom & dad wrong.

I'm surprised his lips weren't blue. 

He actually jumped in a few times which surprised me but he was ready to get out of his wet clothes pretty quickly after acknowledging that it was in fact, too cold to swim :)

Chloe is 8!

Yesterday we celebrated Chloe's birthday by taking her to dinner at the restaurant of her choice - BJ's Brewhouse for the second year in a row. Apparently half of North Dallas also decided to go there because it was packed! Chloe made it through some pretty horrible mac & cheese and held out for the ultimate - a pizzette which is a chocolate chip cookie baked fresh in a mini cookie pan with some vanilla ice cream on top. It was well worth the wait!

Today was her party at ASI Gymnastics. She had two fabulous party hosts who wore the kids out! Chloe was thrilled to have so many friends - from old friends to newer friends from school and Xplor and even our neighbor! She had a blast!!

Enjoying March

We had some pretty nice weather last weekend and spent time outside enjoying it. Here are miss Chloe and miss Bella having fun on the swing.

We spent Monday and Tuesday at Great Wolf Lodge while the kids were on spring break. The dogs went to the kennel and Meadow got a bath prior to being picked up. She was nice and fuzzy!

I guess she felt she was too clean!

When we picked up the dogs we got them some doggie ice cream. Meadow apparently didn't want to share because she ran off with the cup!

Mr P didn't want to look at me. He was too busy ninja fighting the zip line.
