Fun at Dora's House & Parker is 9 months!

Chloe has really started to be very attentive to Parker. She tries to get him to wrestle around with her, chase her and she makes him laugh. Sometimes she'll even let him play with her Dora house.

Parker is 9 months old already. He is cruising all over the house and loves to climb up the stairs. He is very independent and lets you know when he's not happy. Sometimes I can get him to sit still long enough for a picture.

Playing nice.

Playing nice.

"Back off little bro!"
Playing nice again.

Pool Party

Since it was a balmy 96 degrees on Sunday, we broke out the blow up pool and had a Gibson family pool party. Someday we hope to have the real thing in our backyard - that is a pool that you don't need to inflate. Parker liked this a lot better than the lake!

weee

Here are pictures from the ground. It took about 1/2 revolution before Chloe started saying "I like it"!

Here's a crappy cell phone picture that serves as proof that I was able to talk Chloe into riding the ferris wheel at Scheels. We had fun!

Mom is old! (and random pics)

My birthday was last Sunday and it was a wonderful day! Ray and Chloe made me breakfast ("lazy man's omelette" from pioneerwoman.com - very tasty and NOT healthy!). Then we went to the Zoo and had a ball. Here we are on the Carousel.

This boy is so handsome! He is crawling around like a mad man now and he loves standing up.

Bad hair day in the Gibson house!

History Lesson

We took the kids to visit the traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall that was in Elkhorn a couple of weeks ago. It's not as impressive as the real memorial I'm sure but it was interesting nonetheless. We hadn't thought much about how to explain it to Chloe so we ended up telling her that the wall was covered with the names of people who had gone to heaven. She replied, "they're in heaven with Mason [our cat] and great grandma Dorothy".

The kids also managed to make it through dinner at Lazlo's (our first meal out at somewhere other than McDonalds or Red Robin). After her dinner, Chloe got ice cream with Magic Shell and she LOVED it!

Father's Day

We went to (Uncle) Greg & (Aunt) Rebecca's house for dinner to celebrate Father's Day. Chloe had fun making crafts with Emily. Excuse the messy face!

Parker had fun chillin' with dad and watching baby Addison.

Parker is 8 Months old!

I managed to get a couple shots of him before he found the paper. He loves to tear it up (as you can see in the lower picture) just like Chloe did.
