Chocolate Face

MMMMM, Dad makes great brownies!!!

Summer Cycling Fun!

We bought this trailer bike from our old neighbors, the Havers. It was well-loved in their family and we plan to enjoy it with both of our kiddos too. This was Chloe's first spin. Chloe kept telling me not to go in the gutter. What kind of driver does she think I am?

You can see our neighbor Abby in the background of this picture. She raced us up the hill and said "I'm beating you even with a puppet" (which she was wearing on her hand). Pulling this trailer and a 30 lb. kid is more work than I expected. I guess I NEED to be on this bike!

Easter

Parker was quick to trade in his milk for some Easter candy. He wouldn't even let me wipe the milk off of his face. Yes we did let them eat some first thing in the morning. Nothing like chocolate in your jammies!

Chloe was so intrigued by her Easter basket that I couldn't even get her to look at me for a picture!

We had a wonderful lunch over at grandma and grandpa gougers with the whole family - even Ray's sister Lori and her family. It was a great day and the kids loved playing with their cousins. Chloe even got to see my sister Erin as she came through town on her way home to Colorado.

Parker is finally starting to speak a few words. He's got hi, uh oh and whoa down pat. Now he's working on no or no-no, Dora, duck, nose, elbow and a  couple more. Never a dull moment at our house for sure.

The Gibson Boys

Parker has started playing this game where after getting out of the bathtub, he thinks it's hilarious to go run around the house naked. He particularly likes taking off down the steps. He'll run up to wherever you are, put both of his hands up and go HAAAAA!!! He's so excited to be in the buff, even if he's freezing. Crazy kid.

This is a really sweet picture of Parks and his dad. They are reading book that my mom bought for me when I was about Parker's age. How the book survived four kids, I have no idea.

Shoes

Both kids were going stir-crazy this afternoon. Dad's shoes helped for awhile!

It's not supposed to snow in April!
